UHS issues public dental colleges first selection list
BDS merit closes at 94.3273%
The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has released the first selection list for admissions to public sector dental colleges in Punjab for the BDS programme, 24NewsD TV reported on Friday.
The minimum closing merit for admission this year is 94.3273 per cent.
Official figures show that De Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore, recorded the highest closing merit at 94.5808%.
It was followed by Nishtar Institute of Dentistry, Multan, with a merit of 94.4394 per cent, Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences, Lahore, at 94.3758 per cent, and the Dental Institute, Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad, with a closing merit of 94.3273 per cent.
A total of 235 BDS seats are available on open merit across the four public sector dental colleges in Punjab.
Selected candidates have been directed to deposit their admission fee by January 21.
The fee challan can be downloaded from the UHS admissions portal.
The selection list, along with complete details, has been uploaded on the official website of the University of Health Sciences, where candidates can check their merit position and college allocation.
