In an unfortunate incident, four minor girls drowned in a pond located in Pir Manghio in Khairpur District on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

All the four girls went for swimming but could not survive the deep water and drowned. 

They were identified as Shahida, Sobia, Naila, and Surayya. All were from the Kalhoro tribe. The bodies were shifted to the city’s civil hospital.

The deaths have spread grief among the local residents.
