A day before the polling in 20 constituencies in Punjab by-elections, the troops of the Pakistan army on Saturday carried out a reconnaissance of the most sensitive locations and polling stations.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Pakistan army troops visited the sensitive areas as 3rd tier responders to any law and order situation tomorrow (the polling day).
The Pakistan army troops will pay duties in sensitive locations following the directions of the Election Commission of Pakistan during Punjab by-elections.
As per the report, the Pakistan Army troops will perform only Quick Reaction Force (QRF) duties in case of any law and order situation arising during polling.
