Asif Zardari due in Lahore today

In an important development, after holding meetings with former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in Dubai, former president Asif Ali Zardari will reach Lahore today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

During his stay in the provincial capital for a few days, he is likely to meet Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party chief Jahangir Tareen and other political leaders.

He will offer his condolences to Tareen over the death of his brother.

There are also chances that some of the groups defecting from PTI would announce their inclusion in the PPP during their meetings with Zardari.
