Show-cause served to 8 nurses over private practices

Punjab Health Department has issued show-cause notices to eight senior nurses for working with private hospitals without prior approval, reported 24 News Channel on Wednesday. 

According to officials, the Health Department issued show-cause notices to Khizara Ijaz, Head Nurse at DHQ Hospital Muzaffargarh; Mubashira Imtiaz, Head Nurse at Jinnah Hospital and Shemaiah Rani from the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences. Meanwhile, notices were also issued to Shafiquat Bashir, Nursing Superintendent at the Tehsil Hospital Daska, and Sajida Batool, Head Nurse at PIC. Other recipients of the notice include Rukhsana Patras Ghauri, Assistant Instructor at Allama Iqbal Memorial Hospital; Yasmine Manzoor, Head Nurse at Allied Hospital Faisalabad and Nazia Kanwal, Nursing Instructor at the Children’s Hospital Clinic.
