Sohail secures historic win over India in Asian Junior Squash Championship

Pakistan secured a sensational victory against India in the final of the 32nd Asian Junior Squash Championship, with Sohail Adnan delivering a commanding performance to defeat Indian player Ayan Dhanuka.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the championship was held in South Korea from July 1 to 5, where the young Pakistani talent triumphed in the much-anticipated final, earning national glory with his composed and strategic gameplay.

In recognition of his remarkable achievement, Corps Commander Bahawalpur Lieutenant General Muhammad Aqeel met with the young squash star and congratulated him on his exceptional performance against a traditional rival. The general praised Sohail's efforts and celebrated the victory as a proud moment for the nation.

Sohail Adnan and his family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their unwavering support, particularly for providing essential logistical and training facilities, which played a critical role in his preparation and success.

To further enhance his performance and that of his two brothers, Sohail has been granted access to the Bahawalpur Garrison Squash Court, a facility known for producing numerous squash champions in the past.
