Zhalay Sarhadi's bold response to Hania Aamir's critics is winning hearts
Pakistani actress Zhalay Sarhadi has spoken out in support of Hania Aamir after old videos of the actress resurfaced online, triggering fresh comparisons and criticism over her appearance.
Taking to Instagram, Zhalay defended Hania and urged people to stop trolling celebrities over changes in their looks.
She pointed out that a person's face naturally changes over time and said it is unrealistic to expect actors to never undergo cosmetic treatments when their appearance plays an important role in their profession.
In her post, Zhalay wrote, "She was younger. Face changes. It happens to everyone." She added that it is "naive" to believe actors and actresses, whose faces and public image are part of their careers, would never choose aesthetic treatments as part of their personal choice or professional lives.
Zhalay also criticized the culture of online trolling, suggesting that many people spread negativity simply to gain attention.
According to her, trolls often seek a few moments of online fame instead of contributing anything meaningful to public discussions.
Addressing those unhappy with Hania Aamir's appearance, Zhalay remarked, "If you dislike them so much, then don't watch them. No one is forcing you."
She stressed that everyone has the freedom to choose what they watch and that attacking someone over their appearance serves no purpose.
Concluding her message, Zhalay encouraged social media users to spend their time improving themselves instead of trying to pull others down.
She urged people to replace negativity with self-growth, reminding them that personal progress is far more valuable than criticizing someone else's appearance.
