The government Wednesday constituted a high level committee to hold negotiations with the opposition to run the matters smoothly in the National Assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The committee comprises Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Parvez Khattak, Asad Umar, Ali Muhammad Khan and Amir Dogar.
Sources say the member of an allied party of the government would also be included in the committee.
Source added that the committee would be completely empowered to hold negotiations with the oppositions.
The decision to form the committee was made after a long sitting between Speaker Asad Umar and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sources said that PM Khan wanted a conducive environment during the budget session. Speaker National Assembly has also been given complete authority for reconciliation with the opposition.
The committee will hold talks with the opposition before the start of the assembly session tomorrow and would also hold a meeting to discuss the strategy before meeting with the opposition.
The government had also held two meetings with the opposition on Monday but nothing could be changed as both treasury and opposition benches resorted to sloganeering, abuses and throwing objects each other as soon as the opposition leader in the national assembly Shehbaz Sharif started his speech for the third consecutive day and the Speaker has to adourn the session till tomorrow yet again.
