PM inaugurates Eagle Police Squad

Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Eagle Squad Unit of the capital police on Wednesday during his visit to Islamabad Safe City Headquarters, reported 24News HD TV channel.  

While addressing the inaugural ceremony, PM Imran Khan said that the influential people should be dealt with the iron hands for violating the laws instead of putting the weak segments inside the jails. He said, “If Imran Khan violates the law, take action against him.” He further said that prosperity needed a peaceful environment in any society, however, peace establishment should not be misunderstood as jailing the vulnerable segments. He asked the newly established police squad not to deal with the weak segments by iron hand but the influential people who were involved in laws’ violations. He said the human society was ruled by justice and rule of law but not with the exhibition of power.

PM Khan directed the police forces to independently take action against the law-breakers, however, the cops must have compassion for the weaker section of the society. 

PM Imran Khan has visited the Safe City Headquarters in Islamabad where he inaugurated the new Eagle Squad of the Islamabad police comprising 100 motorcycles.

On the occasion, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said the opposition could do nothing to harm Imran Khan. He said the PTI government had presented the best budget, adding that he thanked the government for increasing the salaries of government employees by 10 percent.
