Perhaps no one would have ever imagined that two bitter opponents in the country’s politics today namely PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan would be at the same place, and at the same time as it is going to happen most likely today when both these leaders will be at the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) premises at the same time; though for different reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

While Imran will address the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) today, Maryam and her husband Captain (r) Safdar are due to appear in the court in connection with the hearing of their appeals in the Avenfield Reference.

A two-member bench of the IHC, consisting of Aamer Farooq and Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, will resume hearing of the case today while Amjad Pervez, counsel for Maryam, will continue his arguments. 
After Advocate Pervez, the NAB prosecutor will start giving his arguments. 
PTI chairman, on the other hand, will address the Bar on the latter’s invitation which it had extended to him through a letter. 
However, the presence of both these leaders in the court at the same time may prove difficult for the district administration to handle as PML-N vice president might by accompanied by her charged supporters, and chances of a clash can never be ruled out.
