Indian-Israeli nexus behind nuclear threat propaganda against Pakistan exposed
Pakistan rejects allegations: RAW’s X account busted for spreading fake anti-Pakistan news: India trying to divert attention from Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s US visit:
A coordinated disinformation campaign allegedly orchestrated by India’s intelligence agency RAW, in collaboration with pro-Israeli forces, has been exposed after fake social media accounts spread fabricated claims about Pakistan threatening a nuclear strike on Israel, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday.
According to the sources, a fake X (formerly Twitter) account linked to RAW, under the handle @Iriran_official, falsely claimed that “as per Israeli channels, Pakistan informed the US that a nuclear response would follow if Iran were attacked by Israel.”
However, this narrative was quickly debunked by independent fact-checkers, and a context note on X stated, “No credible or official source has confirmed that Pakistan sent such a message to the United States.”
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs swiftly and categorically rejected the baseless allegation, reaffirming that Islamabad continues to support Iran morally and diplomatically at international forums but has never issued or implied any nuclear threats.
Sources also highlighted that former Defence Minister Khawaja Asif was wrongly quoted in the propaganda, suggesting that Pakistan had shared intelligence with Iran before an Israeli attack.
In fact, during his June 14 address in the National Assembly, Khawaja Asif made no such statement. The news channel RTV, which initially misrepresented the quote, has since issued a formal apology, indirectly admitting its role in spreading misinformation.
This revelation further proves that RAW and Israeli lobbies are jointly engaging in smear campaigns against Pakistan, similar to their past efforts to place Pakistan on the FATF grey list.
Following their failure to reinstate Pakistan on the grey list, RAW has now resorted to a more toxic and desperate disinformation war.
Analysts also believe that this fake narrative was deliberately timed to divert attention from Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s ongoing official visit to the United States, indicating political motivations behind the smear.
Pakistan’s stance remains firm: it is committed to regional stability, transparency, and responsible diplomacy and will continue to counter disinformation through truth and official channels.
