Two dead in Barkhan bomb blast

Two people lost their lives and several others injured when a bomb, which was fitted to a motorcycle, exploded with a big bang in Rakhni area of district Barkhan on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The bomb explosion damaged glasses of several buildings located in the adjacent areas while a vehicle was also caught in the blast.

Soon after the explosion, police and Levies personnel cordoned off the area and sealed the site. The injured persons were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Balochistan Minister Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran strongly condemned the blast and expressed his heartfelt sympathies and grief to the bereaved families.

He directed the deputy commissioner to take urgent measures to provide best medical treatment facilities to injured persons.
