FIA arrests man attempting to go to Poland on fake work visa
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration has foiled an attempt by a passenger to travel on a fake work visa of Poland at Karachi Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to FIA spokesperson, FIA arrested passenger Dawood Khan, son of Asghar Khan, resident of Swabi district and registered a case against him.
During immigration clearance, the passenger’s travel documents were found suspicious.
During detailed investigation, the Polish work visa was found to be fake and counter-fit, which did not meet the original security features and especially the ultraviolet verification.
In the initial investigation, the passenger revealed that after his Polish visa was rejected twice, he contacted Turkiye-based agent Abu Yurab through Facebook who provided fake visa stickers and other materials by receiving Rs240,000 through the Binance crypto platform.
Passenger said he received a courier parcel in which fake Polish visa stickers, Polish embassy seals and stamp pads were secretly hidden inside tea cups.
On the instructions of the agent, he himself affixed the visa and stamped it on his passport and later obtained protector clearance and booked a ticket to Poland.
After the incident, the passenger was handed over to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi.
The accused and FIR No. 183/2026 has been registered against other involved persons while further investigation is underway.
The FIA continues to take indiscriminate action against elements involved in human trafficking, visa fraud and illegal immigration through fake travel documents.
