Four kids die after falling into pond in Changa Manga

Bodies of four children were recovered from a pond meant for animals in the forests of Changa Manga on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The deceased were identified as nine-year-old Hadia, 10-year-old Adnan, 11-year-old Murad and 11-year-old Imran.

Hadia, Adnan and Murad were siblings while Imran was their cousin.

The children had come from Toba Tek Singh to Vir Singh Wala where the tragedy befell them.

Their parents had gone to a forest to fetch woods when one of the children fell into a pond, which was eight to 10-foot deep.

And in order to save him, other three also jumped in, and drowned.

When children’s parents returned, they found their bodies floating on the pond.

Soon after learning about the incident, senior officers of the forest department reached the site and sought details of the incident.

There was a state of mourning in the entire area over the demise of children.
