Mohsin Naqvi urges ulema’s role in keeping nation united
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the ulema have an important role in maintaining peace and order across Pakistan and can act as a catalyst in keeping the nation united, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the members of Paigham Peace Committee in Islamabad on Tuesday, Mohsin Naqvi said this forum should send a message of unity to the entire country.
Mohsin Naqvi said the Peace Committee should be active at the district level. “Everyone should be united to eliminate terrorism,” he added.
Mohsin Naqvi said “Maintaining peace and order in Muharram is everyone's responsibility and we did not see who is what? Focus only on yourself.”
Mohsin Naqvi said freedom of expression does not mean that we can say whatever we want about others.
He said my role on the Iran issue is limited and Field Marshal Asim Munir entered the field as captain, and a player only follows the captain's instructions and tries for the team's victory.
Mohsin Naqvi said the Prime Minister took the lead on the US-Iran issue.
Field Marshal called the right things of the parties on the US-Iran issue right and the wrong things wrong, Mohsin Naqvi said.
He said the victory in the war against India was achieved with the divine help from Allah Almighty.
The Field Marshal brought back the US-Iran war back from a dangerous stage, Mohsin Naqvi said.
