One Love’ Turkish star Ece Ertem dies at 35

Turkish actress Ece Ertem, best known for her role as Ashel in the popular television drama One Love, has died at the age of 35, 24NewsHD TV reported.

According to Turkish media reports, Ertem was found unconscious at her home on Monday afternoon. She was reportedly with her mother when she suffered a sudden medical emergency.

Despite efforts to save her, the actress could not be revived.

Her lawyer, Uğur Gokkoyun, said preliminary medical assessments suggest that a heart attack may have been the cause of death.

However, authorities are continuing their investigation, and the exact cause will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report is completed.

The lawyer also dismissed social media speculation claiming that the actress had taken her own life, describing such reports as baseless.

The news has come as an even greater shock as Ertem had celebrated her 35th birthday just a day before her death.

Born on June 14, 1991, in the Turkish city of Sivas, Ertem graduated from the Opera and Vocal Performance Department of Yaşar University in 2014.

She later received professional acting training at Istanbul’s Sadri Alışık Cultural Center before launching her career in the entertainment industry.

Ertem rose to prominence through her portrayal of Ashel in One Love, a role that earned her widespread recognition and established her as one of Turkey’s promising young actresses.

Tributes have been pouring in from fans and fellow artists on social media, with many expressing grief over the untimely loss of the talented actress.
