Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf coalition partner Pakistan Muslim-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Moonish Elahi on Monday lambasted the government’s preparedness for countering the novel coronavirus and termed it ‘inadequate’.
Moonis Elahi in a tweet said, “People (are) worried about the dangers of coronavirus and are not waiting for merely government statements rather practical actions.”

Moonis termed the government’s measures not enough and said, “Currently there is inadequate preparation at public hospitals and people are forced to pay thousands of rupees for the test fees to private labs.”
He highlighted the sudden surge in private laboratory tests of coronavirus.
It is pertinent to mention that the tests of coronavirus in government hospitals are free of cost.
Moonis said that “Instead of sending face masks abroad, health authorities should focus on their task in the country.”
