The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday postponed the series with Bangladesh because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Bangladesh cricket team was scheduled to play a one-day international in Karachi on April 1, while the Test had planned from April 5 to 9.
They had earlier visited Pakistan in January to play three T20s in Lahore. Later, they played a test in Rawalpindi.
The postponed test in Karachi was part of the two-match series. Pakistan had won the Rawalpindi test with a margin of an innings and 44 runs.
Meanwhile, the PCB has also suspended the Pakistan Cup for an indefinite period.
The move is line with the global trend, sports events around the world are being postponed or suspended for ensuring public safety.
The top European football leagues – Italian, German, English, French and Spanish – as well the first of the Formula One races in Australia are among the famous events becoming a victim to the pandemic.
