Weather in Karachi to remain hot and humid

After a rain spell that lashed different parts of the country for three days, the Met Office on Sunday predicted cold and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

However, it said that rain, accompanied by strong winds, was expected in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), while it would snow over the mountains.   

Meanwhile, the weather in Karachi is expected to remain hot as the Met Office forecast the maximum temperature in the port city to fluctuate between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius.   

It was partly cloudy and humid in the city on Sunday morning. 

Winds were blowing at the speed of eight kilometers per hour from the north-east. 

The level of humidity in the air was recorded at 46 per cent.
