Woman jumps from 4th floor on police raid in Karachi

An allegedly drug dealer woman committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of a residential building located in Karachi Defence when police raided to arrest her, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to police, the woman identified as 40-year-old Afsheen.
Police said that late last night, the police arrested a wanted drug dealer accused Obaid in case 181/25 of Darakhshan police station.
Accused Obaid told during interrogation that a woman named Afsheen is the accused’s business partner in drug trafficking.
On the accused’s indication, the police reached the accused woman’s flat located in Muslim Commercial to arrest her. 
Despite the police knocking on the door of the accused’s flat several times, the accused, Afsheen, jumped from the balcony of her flat instead of opening the door.
Accused Afsheen was immediately shifted to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
The deceased Afsheen lived alone in her flat, while other drugs, including liquor bottles, were also recovered from the deceased’s house. 
According to the initial report, the deceased was addicted to drugs, while the postmortem of the deceased and other legal proceedings are being carried out by the police.
