Govt to launch anti-polio campaign in April 

In order to contain spread of polio virus in Pakistan, the government has decided to launch second anti national polio campaign of 2026 in April, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

The second national polio eradication campaign of 2026 will continue from April 13 to 19. More than 400,000 polio workers will serve in the national polio campaign. The first national polio eradication campaign of 2026 was scheduled from February 2 to 8 last month. 

According to NEOC, one polio positive case reported so far in 2026. Polio virus confirmed in environmental samples from 24 districts of the country.
