PML-N chides govt over ‘shameful allegation of Rs4.9m’ corruption against Shehbaz Sharif

May 16, 2020 07:31 PM

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb on Saturday alleged that NAB-Niazi nexus after digging out the mountain of allegations for two years merely come up with shameful allegation of Rs 49 lakh that turned out to be a dead stinking rat.

She said that the allegations of Rs 4.9m allegation against Shahbaz Sharif were ridiculous who pays Rs 80 million in annual income tax.

“Accused of giving Rs 49 lakh to Shahbaz Sharif who gave up crores of rupees as Chief Minister? No shame at all. Shehbaz Sharif is the person, who planned billions of development projects and saved billions in them, now is accused of paying Rs 49 lakh.”

She said: “Imran Sahib should commit suicide today on the charge of Rs 49 lakh because his false statement of corruption is no longer selling. Accountability contractors were given four challenges, which have not yet been answered including NAB Niazi Nexus was to bring evidence of Shahbaz Sharif's corruption today? People wanted to hear and see it? Imran Sahib should not answer my challenge about Shahbaz Sharif,” Maryam Aurangzeb said.

“The government has failed the public service test and has been caught red-handed in corruption and that is the reason media trial of political opponents is underway.”

A press conference was held today to divert public attention from the new robbery by amending the Companies Ordinance.

“Corruption committed in Imran Khan’s 23 secret accounts worth billions of rupees, foreign funding, Malam Jabba, helicopter cases, give an account of it. She quoted examples of billion tree tsunami, 100 billion BRT mines, 500 billion flour sugars and over 580 billion drug robbery accounts.

She said Imran Khan’s money laundering, hawala and hundi's hidden record in Election Commission is not being made public.

She questioned why the record of Imran Khan money laundering, hawala and hundi hidden in the Election Commission is not being presented to the public?

PML-N spokesperson said that Shahbaz Sharif's daily media trial in PID at government expense cannot hide your (Imran Khan) corruption and incompetence.

It is pertinent to mention here on Wednesday Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability Mirza Shahzad Akbar in a press conference made allegations against the PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif an claimed to unearthed 10 front companies of Shahbaz Sharif and his sons from where over Rs17 billion had been transferred to their bank accounts.
