The flight schedule at Karachi International Airport has been changed and the authorities have issued a revised flight schedule, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The time of PIA flight PK0340 from Karachi to Faisalabad has been changed and now the flight will depart at 8:20 pm instead of 7pm.

A flight from Quetta PK-363 will now reach Karachi Airport at 7pm instead of 4:55pm.

Pakistan had already reduced the number of local flights by 40 percent as it continued to battle the third wave of coronavirus infections.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) flight schedule will be effective from May 5 to May 20. It allowed the PIA 29 flights for Karachi and 55 for Lahore in a week. The airlines could operate 76 flights for Islamabad and 41 for Peshawar.
