20 shops destroyed as fire sweeps Upper Dir market

As many as 20 shops were reduced to ashes as a huge fire erupted in a bazaar located in Upper Dir area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Soon after receiving the report, four Rescue 1122 fire tenders carried out the operation to douse the blaze.
Earlier in January 2025, scores of trees and shrubs were burnt after a fire erupted in a jungle on Akakhel mountainous range in Bara, district Khyber.
