Federal govt provides Rs532m aid to AJK govt to support victims of Indian aggression

Federal Government on Friday announced that it had ensured the disbursement of compensation and relief to the victims of Indian aggression through the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). 

The federal government has provided Rs 532 million to the AJK government. The heirs of the martyrs will be given Rs 10 million under the package given by the Government of Pakistan. 

The critical injured will be given Rs 2 million and the other injured will be given Rs 1 million each. 

This financial assistance is provided through the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) to the heirs of martyrs and the injured during Indian aggression. 

In addition to this, the AJK government has given Rs. 1 million each to the heirs of martyrs and Rs. 8 million to those who have been disabled. 

The AJK also paid Rs300,000 to the seriously injured and Rs. 50,000 each to those slightly injured. The government has paid the compensation to the heirs of the martyrs at their doorstep. The compensation for houses and shops will be paid after the recommendation of the probe committees.
