National hockey team training camp continues ahead of FIH Pro League matches

Pakistan’s national hockey team training camp is continuing at the National Hockey Stadium, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday. 

Team officials said 10 players who recently returned after participating in foreign leagues have reported to the camp, while the remaining players are expected to join within the next couple of days.

Head coach Manzoor-ul-Hasan said the arrival of national players has improved the quality of training at the camp.

“We are conducting different drills for the players, and a few new players in the camp are also showing promising performances,” he said.

Assistant coach Khawaja Junaid said both senior and junior players are training together in the camp.

“The players have returned after playing in different leagues, and the senior players now have considerable experience,” he said.

He added that the coaching staff hopes to build a strong combination for the remaining Pro League fixtures through the ongoing training sessions.
