He announced this decision after the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) meeting chaired by Mr Mehmood. During the meeting, it was also proposed for winter vacations from November 20 to January 31, the TV channel reported.
Separately, 21 schools have been closed so far including 14 public and seven private schools over coronavirus cases, the TV channel reported.
All Pakistan Private Schools Federation Kashif Mirza appreciated the government's decision for not closing the schools. “Schools will not be closed as 750 million students have already faced academic losses during the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added.
