Opposition Leader in the Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that opposition accepted National Assembly Speaker Asad Qasier negotiation's offer about upcoming joint sitting in Pakistan’s interest, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday. 

Gilani  said that if the government had enough numbers for Nov 17 joint session then NA Speaker Asad Qaisar would not have write the letter to the opposition.

“If the government wants to create consensus, then it should sit with the opposition. We have accepted the offer of negotiations on the issue of legislation,” he added.

Gilani advised, “If affairs of Parliament would go to the courts, it would cause embarrassment for the government, added, the unconstitutional way can never last long.” 

Gillani further said that nation knows about the intention of the government.
