Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) announced challenging the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) bill if passed in the joint sitting of the parliament, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.

PPP leader Nayyar Hussain Bukhari with Shazi marri addressed a press conference in Islamabad and said there was a possibility that the proposed bill about EVMs would not be passed in the joint session.

Bukhari took a jibe at the PTI-led government and said that due to the frail economy, the national defence may be endangered. He added, authorities should take notice of the situation, Nayyar added.

Shazia Marri said Prime Minister Imran Khan was ready to flee from free and fair elections and now looking for the help of machines.

She said the masses were worried about the incompetence and mismanagement of the rulers and wanted to get rid of the PTI-led government.
