Punjab imposes ban on non-vaccinated persons to use public transport

The Punjab government imposed a ban on non-vaccinated persons for using public transport, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department secretary liaised with the Transport Department secretary and issued a directive about the fresh travelling restrictions.
As per the directive, people without anti-corona vaccination in Punjab would no longer be able to travel on public transport.
The directive said that the vaccination was mandatory for travel in public transport in Punjab and District Regional Transport Authorities would monitor the implementation on it in their respective districts.
The directive said any person who had not taken a single dose even, he should not be able to use public transport. And the persons who had passed three weeks to their first dose of vaccine would also not be allowed to travel on public transport.
