The Awami National Party (ANP) has filed an application for the registration of a first information report (FIR) against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders for the violation of section 144.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and former federal minister Murad Saeed have been nominated in the application.
ANP senior leaders Imran Ullah Thakar and Murad Khan Mashwani applied to the SHO of Timergara Police station for registering a case against Mahmood Khan and Murad Saeed for violation of section 144 and closure of the road in Taimargarh during a PTI public meeting.
This closure caused immense problems for the people of the five districts, they contended.
They also alleged that due to the election campaign of PTI, the public including the elderly, children, and patients suffered problems.
The closure of bazars, shops, and roads for political purposes in the city aggravated the miseries of the people.
