Two Pak army soldiers were martyred while a terrorist was killed when a fire exchange took place between the security forces and terrorists in Bajaur, said a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the military’s media wing, a fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists in the general area of Hilal Khel, Bajaur District on the night of 15/16 November.
During an intense exchange of fire, one terrorist got killed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist.
The killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.
However, during the intense exchange of fire, Naik Taj Muhammad (age 33 years, resident of Kohat) and Lance Naik Imtiaz Khan (age 30 years, resident of Malakand) having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
