AJK Education Minister Deewan Chughtai joins PPP
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Education Minister Deewan Chughtai announced joined the Pakistan People’s Party after meeting Faryal Talpur in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
Deewan Chughtai announced his decision during an event held at Zardari House in Islamabad.
Prominent leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party, including Chaudhary Riaz, Sardar Ziaul Qamar, and Sardar Ahmad Sagheer, were also present on the occasion.
The Pakistan People’s Party also released a picture showing the joining of Deewan Chughtai to the PPP.
In charge of PPP for Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Faryal Talpur, welcomed the induction of Deewan Ali Chughtai into the PPP, and other central leaders of the PPP also expressed their best wishes for Deewan Chughtai.
According to sources, the vote on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq will be held tomorrow.
The PPP has claimed the support of more than 40 members in the no-confidence motion.
Two more members of the Azad Kashmir Assembly have decided to support the PPP. Sabiha Siddique and Taqdis Gilani have assured their support for the no-confidence motion.
