Call to enforce Punjab Domestic Workers Act 2019

The Christian Study Center (CSC) joined hands with the Punjab Women's Development Department to organise a consultative session on the Punjab Domestic Workers Act 2019.

The officials concerned and civil society activists attended the session, attended the session, calling for implementation of the act. 

All participants suggested proper implementation of the law with mass awareness at the grassroot level, so that domestic workers may be happily registered.

It was also unanimously endorsed that the rules of the law should be enacted.

Secretary of PCSW, Director of WDD and Director of GMIS also attended the session as guests of honor.

Participants paid special thanks to Punjab CM Focal Person Sadia Tamior, who stressed the need for arranging such consultative sessions in the future.
