Nazish Jahangir flays 'fake people' in savage story
Nazish Jahangir has taken a swipe at fake people on her social media, drawing laughter from her fans and followers.
The star took to Instagram to share a funny yet pointed post about dealing with 'fake people' in her life. Sharing a screenshot of a tweet that sends a message about being “surrounded by fakes,” Nazish added her savage commentary.
Tagging fellow celebrities Sumaira Khan, Beeshafi, Bakhtawar Junejo, and Hamna Nadeem, she wrote: “Fake is a small word. SNAKE JANU SNAKE,” followed by multiple laughing emojis, making it clear she was humorously taking a swipe at people she considers insincere.
Previously, Nazish Jahangir expressed gratitude to her fans for their continued love and support, just weeks after she found herself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
According to 24NewsHD TV, a Lahore court on October 8 issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Nazish Jahangir in a multi-million-rupee fraud case.
During the hearing, the judge reportedly canceled her bail bonds after the actress failed to appear in court despite repeated summons.
The prosecution stated that Jahangir is accused of refusing to return borrowed money, with the complainant alleging she took a hefty sum and later failed to repay it as promised. The court directed police to arrest her and produce her at the next hearing.
According to the complainant, identified as actor Aswad, Nazish allegedly borrowed Rs2.5 million and also retained his vehicle valued at Rs5.5 million.
The actress’s counsel submitted an application seeking a one-day exemption from appearance, but the court rejected the plea, noting that charges had already been framed and the trial was nearing its conclusion.
This is not the first time Nazish Jahangir has been entangled in legal controversy.
Back in 2020, the actress was arrested in Karachi in connection with a case involving blackmail, online harassment, and the circulation of fake videos and posts.
At that time, Jahangir was taken into custody along with actor and singer Mohsin Abbas Haider, following a complaint by Haider’s former wife, Fatima Sohail. Fatima, who had earlier accused Mohsin Abbas of domestic abuse, alleged that the pair had harassed her online and spread fabricated content.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) later confirmed that both Nazish and Mohsin were found guilty of cyber harassment and malicious online activity following a detailed inquiry.
While Nazish Jahangir has remained silent on her ongoing fraud case, her recent social media activity suggests she is focusing on the positive energy from her followers.
