PCB Chief lauds Pakistan’s dominant wins over Sri Lanka and India A
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday congratulated the Pakistan national team and the Pakistan Shaheens for securing impressive victories in their respective international fixtures.
Pakistan completed a clean sweep of the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka with a six-wicket win in Rawalpindi.
Naqvi praised the squad’s consistency, describing the back-to-back wins as “brilliant” and commending the players, coaches, and management for their “hard work and spirit.”
He urged fans to continue supporting the team, saying the players were “giving their all for the country.”
He also extended special praise to fast bowler Haris Rauf for being named Man of the Series, calling his bowling performances “outstanding throughout.”

The PCB chairman also celebrated the Pakistan Shaheens’ emphatic eight-wicket victory over India A in the Asia Cup Rising Stars T20 Tournament in Doha. The Shaheens chased down the target in just 13.2 overs in what Naqvi described as a “dominant, fearless and unforgettable performance.”
Calling it a proud moment for Pakistan cricket, he said the young squad had shown that “the future of Pakistan is shining bright,” and congratulated cricket fans across the nation.
