Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said on Thursday that government’s flawed policies too are responsible for the wheat and sugar crises in the country.
Talking to a private news channel, Fawad said the Statistics Division gave the government wrong figures and said that Pakistan had surplus wheat and sugar therefore the commodities should be exported. He said the government exported these commodities and now the government is facing shortage of wheat and sugar. He said he was in support of action against those responsible for these crises.
