Petrol, diesel prices fall in Pakistan

The government on Wednesday announced a cut in the prices of petrol and diesel.

According to a notification issued by the Finance Ministry, the government decreased the prices of petrol by Rs5.66 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs1.39 per litre. The price of kerosine oil was cut by Rs3.26 pr litre and light diesel by Rs2.72 per litre.

The new price of petrol is Rs263.2 per litre and high-speed diesel Rs275.41 per litre.
