Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmed has said the manner of dealing with the matter of Masood Azhar was unhelpful, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
“Maulana Masood Azhar is a fugitive and involved in terrorism in Pakistan. We have repeatedly identified him and demanded the Afghan government arrest him,” the FO stated.
Kabul and the international community made sure that they would not let anyone use Afghan territory against Pakistan.
Asim Iftikhar said the Indian media has been airing rumours about the Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Project to target the programme and the Pak-China friendship. A Chinese firm is currently carrying out renovation work on the project, he added.
The FO spokesperson said the Indian media reports are part of its propaganda. He also condemned the killing of three more innocent Kashmiris in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.
