Shaniera Akram and Armeena Rana engaged in a Twitter spat over Resham's viral incident in which she carelessly threw plastic into a river after feeding the fish.

Public went extremely mad at Resham’s act of causing pollution in the river, so did Waseem Akram’s wife Shaniera Akram. She couldn’t process it and simply uploaded a video that said, "My Eyes, My Brain".

Many Pakistanis sided with Shaniera and praised her for always speaking up. She mentioned the bad situation of Pakistan and thanked Pakistanis for speaking out against this reckless behaviour. “Seeing so many people get offended by her actions makes me believe the future of Pakistan is in good hands”, tweets Shaniera Akram. Further she posted another tweet thanking Resham for unknowingly starting a cleanliness campaign. Also she wrote an apology noted at the end and asked her to help them make Pakistan clean and green.

Actress Armeena Rana Khan on the other hand, who first taunted Shaniera Akram a "White Savior" and claimed she is sick of them before adding that Shaniera's followers were targeting her. She didn't like Akram’s subsequent tweets on the subject. “Punching down again eh Shaniera? Imagine tweeting three times successively within the course of 12 hours for someone whom you know can’t attack back. I wonder what you’re really after.” She also came out in Resham's defence, telling everyone to stop criticizing her now that she had expressed her regret twice. Also she stated that everyone makes mistakes and should let it go now.
