Punjab CM okays 832 posts for new Gujrat division

The Punjab chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Friday okayed the creation of 832 new vacancies in the recently formed Gujrat division, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per the notification, Rs3.7 billion will be spent on building the infrastructure for new vacancies in the Gujarat division.
The divisional offices of all the departments will be established for creating these vacancies. Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has made Gujarat a division, for which now the divisional headquarters have been created in Gujarat and new posts are being recruited.
According to detail, 21 vacancies will be for Excise and Taxation, nine for Special Education, 69 pots for Food Department, 76 for the Agriculture Sector, 54 for the Housing Department, 41 for School Education, 33 for Higher Education, and 21 posts for Livestock Department.
About 117 posts for the RPO and 96 for the commissioner’s office have been created.
It is pertinent that the board of revenue had approved the establishment of the Gujrat division on Aug 17 after the bifurcation of the Gujranwala division– Punjab’s largest divisional headquarters, comprising six districts. Gujrat is now a 10th administrative division of Punjab with three districts, namely Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin and Hafizabad.
