Ban lifted on teachers’ transfers in Punjab schools

School Education Department in Punjab has lifted the ban on teachers’ transfers and posting, reported 24NewsHD TV.‎ 

According to officials, teachers will now be able to apply for transfers on open merit, promotion, ‎mutual, surplus, and disposal grounds.‎ Online applications will be received from September 28, while verification of applications will be ‎completed in October.

Transfer orders will also be issued in October.‎
