Model duo Abeer Asad Khan and Sauban Umais announce divorce
Pakistani model duo and real-life couple, Sauban Umais and Abeer Asad Khan, have reportedly decided to part ways.
The two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in February 2025, surrounded by close friends and family. However, on Tuesday, Sauban revealed via his Instagram Stories that he and Abeer had mutually agreed to separate.
"The divorce is still in process, but we’ve made our decision," he wrote, adding, "...wish her nothing but good luck."
The award-winning pair had previously shared vibrant and heartwarming photos from their wedding on social media, which had thrilled their fans.
In the photos, Abeer looked stunning in a gold and pink traditional outfit featuring a beautifully embroidered frock paired with fitted trousers, an embellished dupatta, and matching khussas. She opted for a minimalist bridal look—no makeup, loose hair, and simple jewellery that included a tikka and floral gajras.
Sauban, on the other hand, looked dapper in an ivory sherwani complemented by a matching shawl and traditional footwear.
They captioned their nikkah photos with the heartfelt message: "Allah is the best planner, 01-02-2025."
The couple received an outpouring of love from fans and celebrities alike. Actress Ayeza Khan commented, "Abeer and Sauban! I'm so happy for both of you! Congratulations." Fellow model Sadaf Kanwal added, "Mashallah, Mubarak hooo."
