The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the completion of all necessary preparations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.

A total of over 6.2 million ballot papers have been printed, with sources confirming the printing took place in Islamabad and Karachi.

In a bid to maintain clarity and distinction, the ballot papers for the National Assembly are in green, while those for the Provincial Assembly are white.

The logistics for delivering these ballot papers to the Returning Officers of the respective constituencies are in place, ensuring a smooth electoral process.

An impressive number of voters, amounting to over 2.5 million, are expected to cast their votes for the National Assembly constituencies, while 3.6 million voters will participate in the Provincial Assembly elections.

There are 47 candidates vying for seats in the National Assembly. The elections, scheduled for April 21, will encompass 5 National Assembly and 16 Provincial Assembly constituencies.
