Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday suggested the political leadership of Afghanistan to sit and work together for peace in the country.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, a political delegation of Afghanistan called on PM Imran Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday and appraised Pakistan’s efforts to bring peace to Afghanistan.

Talking to the delegation, Imran Khan said Afghan political leaders had a heavy responsibility now in the changing scenario of Afghanistan.

Imran Khan said Afghan political leadership should sit together and decide the future. He assured the delegation that Pakistan would continue its efforts for a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.

He said the Afghan political leaders must work together for a political solution and peace in Afghanistan.

During the meeting, Pakistan and Afghanistan agreed to further strengthen bilateral ties.
