Prime Minister Imran Khan has assured MQM of allaying all their reservations, 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday reported the inside story of the meeting between the premier and a delegation of the PTI coalition partner.

The PTI and the MQM agreed to frame a joint strategy for the Senate elections as the Muttahida vowed that it stands with the government in getting senators elected from Sindh.

Imran Khan told the MQM delegation that Karachi is among the federal government’s priorities. He said the government is aware of the MQM’s demands and assured them that their just demands will be met.

According to sources, the MQM delegation raised the issues of missing workers and the closed offices of the party.

The Muttahida team had a detailed meeting with the prime minister about development projects in Karachi and the Karachi Transformation Package.

Imran Khan said he will go to Karachi to personally look into these projects, the sources added.
