Minister Swati gets railway officer arrested sans inquiry
Arrest triggers countrywide protests by railway employees

The Pakistan Railways Headquarters officers in Lahore on Friday protested against their minister Azam Swati who became overzealous as the latter got one of their colleagues arrested without any corruption proof or any departmental inquiry, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Reportedly, the Railways officers across the country raised their voice against Railways Minister Azam Swati for getting Railways Works Manager Shahzad Javed arrested and handcuffed without conducting any inquiry and without any proof. They held a pen-down strike in the Railways Headquarters.
Sources said that they also gave a call for strike. Many officers have already submitted their leave applications, they informed and added that the officers had expressed their will to hold talks with the minister by themselves.
