UAE Minister Sheikh Nahyan Arrives in Pakistan, holds talks with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi

UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday, where he was warmly received by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

On the occasion of the UAE National Day, the two leaders cut a cake together, with Mohsin Naqvi extending heartfelt congratulations to Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and the people of the United Arab Emirates.

Following the reception, Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan in which both sides held detailed discussions on further promoting bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE. Matters of mutual interest and potential joint initiatives were also discussed during the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan expressed satisfaction over the warm welcome extended to him, describing Mohsin Naqvi as a brother and appreciating Pakistan’s hospitality.

Mohsin Naqvi, while welcoming the UAE minister, said that the excellent brotherly relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates are rooted in mutual trust, respect and long-standing friendship, adding that both countries are determined to further strengthen these ties.

UAE Ambassador Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, Minister of State Abdul Rahman Kanjo and other dignitaries were also present at the reception.
