Three alleged dacoits killed during police encounter in RY Khan

Three alleged dacoits were killed during police encounter in Rahim Yar Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to police spokesperson, Kot Sbazal and Bhong police raided an area in Rahim Yar Khan after getting a tip pertaining to the presence of some kutcha dacoits in the area.  

SHOs of Kotsbazl and Ahmadpur Lama, Saifullah Malhi and Naveed Nawaz Wahla reached the place along with a heavy contingent of police and Elite force. 

Seeing the police approaching, dacoits opened fire on them. The law personnel also retaliated. 

According to spokesperson, three dacoits were killed by the firing of their accomplices.

Police recovered three Kalashnikovs and a motorcycle from the possession of the slain dacoits.

The incident occurred near Maqbool Morr, Moza Dawala in the vicinity of Kot Sabzal police station.

Police surrounded the area for the arrest of fleeing dacoits and a search operation was underway.
