PML-N govt to fulfil all its promises, vows Nawaz Sharif
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Monday held a detailed meeting in Lahore with Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) belonging to different cities of the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif said that unfortunately the country was derailed from the path of progress and destroyed with politics of hatred, insult, revenge.
He said that democracy was also derailed in Pakistan, but now the country is back from the verge of default.
Nawaz Sharif said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been working tirelessly for economic progress of the country.
He said that during PML-N government’s tenure they had said goodbye to the IMF and were committed to bringing peace and prosperity back to Pakistan. He said that all of our promises will be fulfilled.
The MPAs who held a meeting with Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz belonged to Sahiwal, Khanewal, Multan, Lodhran and Bahawalnagar divisions.
Nawaz Sharif, Maryam visits Askari X
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz on Monday visited residence of Tariq Hameed Butt located in Askari X Lahore to condole the sad demise of his mother.
On the occasion, they prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with courage.
The deceased was mother of former Deputy Mayor Lahore Arif Hameed Butt, Tariq Hameed Butt and Zubair Hameed Butt and an aunt of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.
